What are your thoughts, which game's gonna create more buzz? (I say MK)

I can already tell you now, MK is going to be more popular. It has more of a fluid fighting style which people seem to prefer when they buy a fighting game whereas MvC is more about keeping them in a combo lock. Personally though, I would much prefer MvC because I love the "wtfux is going on I can't see shit but theres a ton of lights so I must be doing something right" aspect of it. And to be perfectly honest MK seems like it's already been done before with games like Dead or Alive. Just my opinion though, who knows if im right.

I would think MvC3 will be more poplar just because people have been waiting a number of years for it to be released. Mortal Kombat has a bunch of avid followers, so it will be really popular as well. I really like how MK went back to the old 2d because it reminds me of the classic SNES one I loved so much. But yeah I agree with Snuggles about the ridiculous air comboes. Soon enough there will be a cookie-cutter pwntard type team in MvC3 that will basically ruin the gaming experience for the casual online gamers that like playing with their favorite characters.

Hopefully the new MK won't just have all Scorpion players (from the video though, may have some Sektor players)

For me when MK gave the jump to a 3D fighter it became "shit" it lost all the aspects that made it an awesome game back in SNES. I really belive MK is a dead and if not going to die soon series. I cant even see how these games are compared Capcom making the best fighter games of all times. Its pretty simple only MvC has to be one of the bestest games ever created and it will only carry on making the best figthing experience. Dunno if any of you have played Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but it is a really great game and if that one was really good MvC3 will be mind blowind. WARNING: Play under your own risk. Side effects include mind blown and severe eating dissorders due to the constant playing forgetting to do anything else.

Capcom was far from making the best fighting games ever, for fighting games come innovation which Capcom didn't really do. Sure SFII gave it a new standard, but that doesn't mean Capcom makes the best fighting games, most of them are just the same shit with different characters XD.
But people just follow trends like sheep, they miss out on other titles because they're so hardcore religious to their own fav series, like the Capcom vs. series when really it's nothing we haven't seen already.
