Yeah I get some weird dreams sometimes. Something along the lines of wandering aimlessly in a desert. I come across and obelisk like monument and I usually wake up. The there are strange dreams like forests and carnivals. Don't know what they mean, but they're pretty cool sometimes.

I've had some pretty crazy dreams in my lifetime.
I have only had one really outstanding paranormal-ish dream. Around the time that someone tried to break into my apartment while I was home, I had a dream where I was lying in my bed, and I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head, and there was this person in a black cloak standing in my kitchen. He didn't do anything...didn't move or speak. He just kind of stood there, staring at me. Thankfully, I somehow managed to shake myself awake from the nightmare, but I've seen that figure in a couple of dreams since then, and it seriously creeps me out.
But aside from that, I have some really FREAKY dreams. As in absolutely crazy and nonsensical. (Edit: I know this is slightly off-topic for the theme of the thread, but I had to share XD)
I was discussing one in game the other night. I think that I must have been really hungry when I went to bed that night, because everything in it (with the exception of myself and one other critter) was made out of some type of food. I was swimming in this sea of mashed potatoes, and there were cans of tuna floating by like boats on water. There was also this sofa made out of cheese just kind of levitating there on top of the water. When I swam closer to it, a crow flew down, took a bite of the couch, and exploded. Then I woke up. I swear, I could not make this weirdness up. o.O
I also had one once about an FBI-like organization, only the members were bipedal, multicolored moose. They were concocting some sinister plan to take over North America (I think), and I was just kind of...there in the room. I don't know if I was a captive, or a member, or just...some random chick standing there.
But as vivid as those dreams are, I unfortunately don't remember most of my dreams. I'll wake up and think..."Wow, that dream was unusual. There's no way I could forget it." And of course, I do. Usually I just kind of remember vague details, like who was in it and what happened in general.

(Incoming TL;DR post.)
Most of my really scary nightmares are signaled by Ellen Ripley for some reason, the first one i had was back when I developed dementia.
(The dream was in third person-view)
Ellen and I were running through some really tall grass, from some thing that was not in view, i don't ever remember seeing what it was...
Anywhoo... We were running, right? Yeah, and then we came upon an abandoned school bus. Whatever was chasing us was gone now, because we certainly had enough time to watch this really freaky-ass girl that looked like the girl from the silent hill movie, yet in a white dress, and had no eyes crawl out on all fours and just stand up and stare at us, nothing else. Just stared, particularity at me.
Then, we suddenly ended up inside the bus, trying to drive it away, because whatever was chasing us before had returned. I remember looking up in the rear-view mirror... then at Ellen, who was driving, and then back up at the mirror, this time, the girl was there, sitting at the far end of the bus, still staring, she did nothing but sit there and stare. Ellen started up the engine, and we drove off.
I wake up, and feel as if i wasn't alone in the room. I look around, nothing. Figured it was just something from my Dementia causing that. Well, now i'm cured of it. and i still have that feeling.
(Off-topic shrink & spiritualist analysis) When i first had this dream, i told the shrink i was going to at the time about the dream, and she didn't even understand it. With further visits, and further dreams with that girl, she was able to determine that the appearance of Ellen Ripley in my dreams is a trigger for nightmares.
I then talked to my "Sister" of sorts, we weren't related, but she practically lived with me, she came over so much. Anywhoo again... She was one of those spiritual types, and she had told me that she believes that the girl is a manifestation of my Sorrow and pain from the death of my grandmother, the separation of my parents, and being led on by a snake of a woman for over three years.
Apparently, she was some sort of "Guardian" which is why she stared at me, and she was trying to tell me something merely with her appearance. Since i talked with my Sister, the girl has stopped appearing in my dreams, but i still get that "Being watched" feeling in random parts of the house, I get it the most when i stay up late and i'm incredibly tired. My mum, and my aunt say that might be the spirit of my grandmother, watching us. Weird things always seem to happen when we have extended discussions about her. I guess that would make sense, because i mainly get the feeling when i'm sitting in her chair downstairs and i don't say "Hello". =P
Now, I may be agnostic, and a borderline realist, but i believe in spirits. Though, i just think that they don't know that they're dead, and they act as if they were alive. Unless their death was really traumatic, like a murder, or they find their corpse. Then they try to either find out how they died, or make contact to try and get revenge on who killed them. Kinda like that patrick swayze movie, except that the ghost gets to choose who sees/hears them.

well, I've had a few. The first time I had ever had something weird happen to me was when I was four. I was asleep in bed and suddenly I just woke up for no apparent reason. I looked at the foot of my bed and there was a figure right there, and it felt as if he/it was watching me. He/it was just a silhouette, the rest of him like it's features and such weren't visible; he was filled in with black and like I said, all I saw was his outline. I thought it might have been my dad so I called out "dad" and as soon as I spoke the word it literally evaporated. I saw it once more and never saw it again. The next time something happened I was five. My grandma was babysitting me while my parents went off to a comedy show. I was walking down the stairs when right in my ear I heard my name being called. I looked around and saw nothing. I asked my grandma when I went downstairs if she had called my name but she said that she hadn't. I remember when I was 11 or 10 I went to a friend's sleepover party with a few other girls. My friend asked if we wanted to play with a Ouija board and of course we all said yes. So we joined hands and called a random spirit. After a couple of moments we asked it to lift the table that the board was on. Now, this was a huge heavy oak table that a few ten year old girls would never be able to lift. Sure enough the table lifted high above our heads. We were all shocked. Then in a split second we were screaming and the table dropped to the ground, knocking over the candles and the board and breaking a leg off the table. We didn't bother asking the spirit to leave, but we certainly did. I've never played with a Ouija board since. And finally my last experience which was not too long ago..maybe last year? I had a dream that I was in a school, but it wasn't my school but I saw the faces of the friends I knew. I remember looking out the window and the sky was so grey it was almost black and nearly green. Then the stillness was broken by two massive tornadoes. They shattered the glass windows and I still remember the pain from the shards of glass. The tornadoes were so close I remember the feeling of the wind sucking my breath away while we all fearfully hid under our desks. Then I woke up, with a very upset and distressed feeling and I couldn't fall back asleep until 5 in the morning. Two days later I was watching the CNN and there was breaking news about two tornadoes that hit a school in the U.S. somewhere. I immediately thought about my dream and realized that my dream had come true. My dad told me that it was called a precognitive dream(he's really into physcic stuff). However I've not had a dream like that in a while, only nightmares and good dreams that never make sense. ;D So yeah, that about sums up my paranormal experiences. Sorry it was so long.
