currently thinking up a character background for helba, but the tough part would be making a backstory that makes sense. edit:is it possible for ones aging process to be halted due to a terrible accident?

As long as it is coherent its okay :3 just be sure to have something terrible happened to her brain in teh accident(its no fun i know) and that she miraculosly recovered but she stopped growing up...(dont have her have the accident while shes TOO young if you want her to have a body of lets say a teenager well make her have her accident around 13 otherwise shell be too small and have problems(like mental problems)...i am just talking medical stuff here since i studied it ) i cant wait to see your back ground!

Cowboy Bebop Had a Harmonica playing boy who's aging process was halted due to some sort explosion of the little warpgate things they use to speed around the galaxy. Spike had to use a bullet fashioned from a crystallized fragment of what made the child immortal to be able to kill him.

Music to read story by =D"Your destiny..."
"Your fate..."
"This world..."
A barren wasteland, nothing could come alive here. No plants, no sign of life, nothing at all... could it? In the center of this dead space however stood a child. The child's eyes as blue as the clearest sky, not feeling cold or loneliness he began walking slowly across this land, nothing but a simple headband covering his forehead.
Days passed, then weeks. The child then simply collapsed in a forest nothing but a voice was heard inside his head:
"Sleep child, your time has not come... you.. are not.. ready."
The child then found himself inside a cottage, clothed and resting on a bed. The sun shined brightly from the nearby window, he closed his eyes as the light reflected off a nearby vase.
"Oh so you are awake, young one" a voice said, and as the child turned to its source, he saw an elderly man dressed in a robe holding a staff as support. "It's a good thing I found you when I did, you looked like you were about ready to kick the bucket. I am Buryoku an old blacksmith, and you are?" he asked. The boy however could not utter a word, he simply left his mouth open making a small yelp. "I guess you never learned to talk then, hehe. You look as if you were abandoned however, my how young folks are today making children and not even accepting the responsibility of raising them." Buryoku said, pacing back and forth for a few seconds and lifted his head up, "I may be old but I think I can manage one child, so I'll take you in myself." Buryoku then put his hand to his chin and said to himself, "now what to name you... hmm, how about Tenshu?"
The child gave a small smile at hearing the name, and as the years passed the child grew to become a teenager, then a young adult named Tenshu. One afternoon however as Tenshu was tending to a garden, a voice spoke to him:
"Tenshu I see. A name fitting for one such as you, perhaps now it is time to make active your others."
As Tenshu heard this, he looked around trying to find the source of this voice, but there was no one around, then his head began to swell inside, two small spherical lights shown on his his forehead through his headband that made the pain too much to bear as he yelled in pain. Buryoku heard his cry and rushed immediately to him, to his surprise he saw Tenshu on his knees with a red aura around him and as he turned to Buryoku, his eyes stared at him with murderous intent and he charged him. Buryoku quickly swayed to the side and cast a spell on Tenshu that put him to sleep. When he checked on him, he saw the red and blue lights and removed Tenshu's headband to find two gems on his forehead. When he touched the red gem a red mist materialized around Tenshu's left hand and solidified into a weapon with two curved energy blades, when he touched the blue one a blue mist instead materialized and formed into a pole-like weapon with three energy blades. He took Tenshu back inside to his room and took the next few days to study these mysterious weapons.
Tenshu awoke in his bed a week after, he then found Buryoku creating a weapon and catching sight of Tenshu, told him about what he discovered after sitting him down.
"I don't know if you remember, Tenshu, but you are quite a mystery. I found you when you were a still a child all abandoned. Aside from that, I knew nothing about you, until now. You see Tenshu a week ago you changed, you were like a wild beast so I had to put you down for a while. Sorry if your head still hurts but listen up. There are two little gems embedded into your forehead and when I touched them, these.. things appeared from nowhere" Buryoku explained as he guided Tenshu towards the two weapons he had discovered. "While you were knocked out, I was studying them and found something frightening my boy. These two weapons house two terrible demons that were thought to have been just made up fairy tales. This two-bladed one houses Enja, who I believe possessed you before, it's a vicious and angry demon that wants nothing but death and destruction. This pole arm houses one named Suija, a calm but sadistic demon, said to have taken great pleasure in torturing his victims, not allowing them the luxury of a quick death." Buryoku added as a look of fright came down upon Tenshu's face.
"These.. these things are a part of me?" Tenshu asked as he reached for the pole arm a surge of energy went through him that caused him to pull his hand back. "This is all just too strange, why?" Tenshu asked. Buryoku shook his head slowly and took a deep breath.
"Tenshu I don't know why this is happening to you, I wish I knew but I don't. I do study a lot however and you see that blade there?" Buryoku asked while pointing to the sword he had been working on. "I used my most powerful runes to grant that blade the power to keep those demons at bay at least for a while. Whatever you do Tenshu, do not lose that sword, I've named it Onikiri for you. These two weapons I figured I'd give them the names their original demon user had given them. The two-bladed one is called Houkaken, a blade of fire. The pole arm is called Chousekiken, a blade of the water." Buryoku then walked Tenshu to a closet and looked towards him. "Tenshu I feel you can't stay here, whatever the reason those demons are in you you must find out for yourself. I've taught you many things and have wondered just how you've mastered them all so quickly. How to fight, how to use the manmade Technique, and even a few of my own spells. You have a higher purpose, Tenshu." Buryoku said as he reached for a neatly stored robe. "This robe, I want you to wear. It may not look it, but this thing will protect you from almost anything out there. It's very durable and has saved my life countless times. Now I give it to you for your protection."
As Tenshu dressed himself, he still wondered just what was happening to him, how a seemingly normal life took such a turn, and for what? Better? Or worse?
"Buryoku, what about those weapons, I can't carry them by myself. Why can't I just leave them with you?" Tenshu asked. Buryoku held Tenshu's arms and snapped an armlet onto both.
"Those weapons must go with you. Else the demons inside will eventually escape and wreak havoc across the land. It may sound complicated, but you yourself also keep those things in check, Onikiri will do its best to keep them from getting into your mind. These armlets I once wore as well, they can store various materials with ease digitally and they won't put extra weight on you. Don't store too much though or you'll damage it." Buryoku explained and afterwards instructed Tenshu how to store the three weapons and call upon them.
After eating one last time together, Buryoku said goodbye to his adopted son telling him to be careful on his journey and to let destiny guide him. Tenshu himself felt the road calling to him as if it wanted to show him an invisible path to his destiny and he felt unafraid. A voice in the distance however said this:
"The child has now become a man. Now this man believes himself to be a savior. Perhaps now it is time... time to awaken Sasori, and then the real fun can begin..."
