In your spare time I mean. We all know the team's goal is to better the communication, collaboration, and friendliness of THIS community but I wonder what you guys do in your free time when not on PSO.
I'm usually in class or helping out my community in some sort of way. I'm sort of a member of this Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (the theme of Sacred didn't come from this, I just like dark themes related to spiritual beliefs lol) group at the university and at times they visit a homeless shelter to help out. I usually help people around here with any personal problems and/or life problems (not just talking to them either, I take action as well).
I used to play in a band but as some members know we split up recently. I at times hang out with friends, make em laugh etc. That's about it other than trying to help here in the house with the messiness and whatnot.
So what about you guys?

I do a lot of singing. I'm in a chorus currently at the music school I attend for voice lessons and typically do the male solos. I may pursue a career in voice. I'm not very productive right now, outside of doing music I don't do much of anything else but help around the house and an elderly family friend who lives close to us. I don't do much outside of PSO, my life is rather empty at the moment, having graduated and waiting to see what I should do next. I am very introverted, though I enjoy speaking with people one-on-one. I used to be an consultant and supporter for freinds I used to have whenever they had problems but I don't really talk to anyone anymore since I'm not really into the mainstream things they are into and generally I just stayed quietly to the side until someone had problems I could help with. I keep my distance now that other people started to manipulate any sympathy I had to offer for their own ends. I hate groups of people any larger than 4, since by that point a hivemind begins to grow and it becomes extremely nauseating for me to be in an environment with that form of mentality. Of course this may just be because I hate the habits of people in my age group.

I'm in my school's computer science team. We go to competitons where we have to practice our skills by solving problems. They give us a packet that says "We want you to make a program that does this, one that does that, and a couple that do these:", we write them, we get scored based on how many ones work perfectly. There's also a written portion.
I lived all my life in NJ until I moved to TX a couple months ago. On the plus side, I'm all-around 'faster' than the nice and easy southern pace of southern Texas. But that also means that I don't really fit in anywhere.
Reason one: I hate rap - the kind about killing guys, sleeping with women, and being an overall jerk to as many people as possible I mean - and country - I quite honestly don't care about how your wife, dog, and pickup truck all left you for the same man at the same time and I don't want to hear about it.
Reason two: I am not an alcoholic or drug junkie. I don't mind it at all if someone is, but I do mind it when they try to get me involved.
Reason 3: I came from NJ. I just think on a different wavelength altogether. I don't immediately vocalize my thoughts. Ex: "This room feels good!!!!!" [after walking into a FREEZING room from warm outside, oh my god why isn't it against the law to make rooms as cold as these people seem to like]
So, I have some friends at school sure, but I wouldn't really hang out with them anywhere else. I play games and talk on AIM with my friends from NJ a lot, as much as if I had never left in the first place. I don't share many interests with my family, so I usually don't do a whole lot with them. An average day for me is mostly come home from school exhausted and with a slight headache, then play FFXI, then go to bed.

at the moment i am a busy guy...
i have to work two jobs now and its difficult to find spare time... period!
however when i get spare time i am usually on pso. what i did do was take some time off and come on pso but the thing is i was on at stoopid o'clock uk time so i think thats why no one was on tc.
i was hoping to get some kind of time system/converter on the boards. something like what is pst in gmt etcetcetcetc...
off topic, apologies.......
to ten : - what is your stance on my involvement at the moment? i appreciate that i haven't been on tc or whatever but i just feel that my place on the team is fragile....
hopefully i can sort something out in my personal life so i can dedicate more time on pso and chat with you guys!!
i know that team involvement is a difficult subject because strong members are having to deal with a lot of life stuff. i don't wanna bring up old issues. i just don't wanna lose my opportunities in the team!!

Don't be silly, every member is equally important Also like to point out when you come from NJ, no room feels good at all. Everything's "ok" or "all right". We can be in a room, and they ask "how do you like it?", we'd go "well I'm in it and I haven't left yet, it's doing its job".

well..... small business..........in the summer i drive my dump truck, in the winter i plow snow, starting to grow too, i picked up two more plow trucks, i have 15 people working for me, hopefully soon next year me and a buddy will be able to buy bigger equipment to take on our own snow accounts and make butt loads of money, but i am the DIY'er, i do everything under the sun, i won't pay anyone to do it for me. instead of paying someone, i'll take the money and buy the tools instead, and when the next time that job is needed i'll just save that much more, cause i already have the tools to do it. plus my second child will be here in about 6 weeks or so, so yeah, time to put business into overdrive, cause kids are expensive, not to mention the wife

I draw. And draw. And draw. In my free time, stolen time, bed time, lunchtime, school time. Except when I'm playing PSO.
