Ah, I guess it would be. I was thinking of both sides acting irresponsible, and not just one. Either way, I do think there should be a limit of some sort, even though it would be practically imposable to form one.

Well considering you can have a medical check up to find out if it was a rape or not. A limitation is not out of reach i myself being a parent don't think much of abortion in terms of stupid mistakes......ie teenagers getting prego...guess what life's short you did what you wanted don't end a would-be life because you can't take the good with the bad.....to me its like saying "sir i caught you doing 60 over the speed limit, here is your ticket for your date with the death sentence." i think its unjust if it was a oops...ALL pro-choice if it is rape. because what everyone needs to stop and think about is 1. how old were your parents when you were born. 2.now that you know the ages ask them if they planned for it... then make your pro/con choice....don't kill off what could be the greatest person the world has ever known

(Just to clarify, I mean rape as in unwanted sexual intercourse, not 18 year old male messing around with his 17 year old girlfriend)
But is it really worth it to give birth to what could be the greatest person in the world if that person is forced to live a life where he/she is unwanted, not loved, or not given opportunities that the rest of us take for granted? I suppose there is always adoption, but in the end I feel like the "choice" argument really boils down to a whole lot of "what if"s.

Including the fact that abortion itself is risky for the woman, there have been cases where the woman dies because of the abortion.

Yea, especially with pregnant teens who turn to backstreet abortions. Kudos to us for having an actual discussion and not flameing

I could honestly never do it to my own kid, but at the same time, I'm a firm believer that people have the right to do what they feel as long as they're not hurting anyone. Yea I know they're still killing an unborn child, but at the same time, if the mother has to resort to that, the kid's probably better off dead anyway.
